Happy New Year and best of luck with your goals and dreams for 2018 and beyond! It is the start of the New Year and we are bright and fresh to take on the coming months with positive intent.
So do you have any New Year Resolutions for 2018?
What happened to the ones from last year?
Did you achieve any?
Flush The Gurus Down The Toilet
Procrastination leads to Stagnation if you did not take any action, at least that is the cliche you hear from the new age and personal development propagandists! They are so holier than though aren’t they?
With there inspirational clap trap. Yawn. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. 😉
You Are Always Accomplishing Something…
As I look back on 2017 I can say I have achieved many things but usually they are not the ones I expected.
I am sure you will find that you have accomplished many great things if you reflect from last year. Even if you went through many great challenges, how you worked through them, should be seen as great achievements in your growth and potential as a person.
Its just that you don’t see them because they were not in your list of new year resolutions that most people wish to aspire to.
To be honest I don’t do New Year Resolutions as I see it as a fad for what others are doing. I like to focus on achieving things in the here and now. Taking one day by day and month by month through out the year.
New Beginnings
There is nothing to be gained by offering false promises to yourself and others.
If you want to start a new chapter as I am doing then certainly declare those resolutions for the coming year. But I would keep it close to your chest and with close friends and families.
If you make your list of resolutions public then it will diminish the energy and may even get sabotaged especially from negative people whom want to bring you down.
Look at what is realistic but at the same time do not short change yourself of the goals you like to bring to fruition.
Your Goals…
My list is short this year. But they involve three very important goals.
What are your list of goals for the coming year?
When you have made that list, look at it and make sure it is not too big and not too many. If you have a challenge with committing to goals perhaps just start with one for this year, then be sure to commit to the process.
Happy New Year! 🙂
